Balloon Launch in Provo

Although watching the balloon launch has been a tradition with Heather's family, and now Bryan's, we have never been out in Utah on the 4th of July weekend to see it.  We had no idea how many balloons were involved.  Heather greeted us there at 7 am or so with boxes of nummy donuts and blankets to sit on. The balloons depend on the wind currents to stay aloft
and they were not good that morning.  So many of
them had to land in various locations.

Smoky bear was there to remind people to not start forest fires.
His balloon participated in the event.
This balloon is so cool - we have no idea how they got the nose to stick out like that.

Henry couldn't decide if he liked the balloons or the donuts best!

Here was the Liberty Bell!

Us!

Henry and Duncan

Heather and her kids
Michael and Brittany and their three.

And Bryan and Emily and their two.
