Rob's siblings and their spouses get together quarterly at each other's homes. Since we had never done this and we were out here, we offered to host the December one. Everyone was able to come, except Judy, Carlos widow, and John and Pam who live in Michigan. In addition, Dan and Penny's son Joseph joined us as well.
Bert had decorated their home so beautifully!
The hostess supplies the main course and then everyone brings something
to go along with it. We decided on an Italian theme and provided baked
ziti and slow cooker lasagna.
We had suggested that everyone choose a seat not by their spouse so we could visit more. It worked out well.
After dinner, there is a gift exchange with small, often homemade,
gifts. We gave everyone a small red velvet tube cake on darling green polka dot plates I found. In addition, Dan and Penny gave homemade jam and salsa, Judy Hansen Dunford gave a large bag of candy, Gayle and Randon gave boxes of fancy nuts. David and Judy gave a gift as well, but I don't remember what.

It was such a dear part of our Christmas season to be able to be
with these wonderful brothers and sisters!
